comdirect starts online legitimation with empathy

As of 15th October, comdirect bank AG is offering their clients the option of identifying themselves in video chat. This eliminates the need to go to the post office.

This process uses the Video Ident module of the empathy Suite which was developed in accordance with BaFin (Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) requirements.
